Clarisonic Mia Prima Sonic Cleansing Brush: The Verdict

Clarisonic Mia PrimaMIA PRIMA SONIC FACIAL CLEANSING BRUSH

If you follow skincare on any level, you surely know about the infamous Clarisonic Mia Prima facial cleansing brush! These sonic cleansing brushes give skin a deep dive cleanse, getting right into the pores and exfoliating to an extent that we could never achieve with just our hands alone.

I’ve been wanting to try a Clarisonic facial cleansing brush for years now. However I’ve always been a little unsure if the hefty(ish) price tag would be worth it. After 10 days of trial, the verdict is in and I AM LOVING IT!

My biggest skincare shortcoming is forgetting the impact that dirt & debris, SPF, and pollution have on my skin. I always remember to wash away makeup, but forget that there’s more than just makeup that can get stuck deep down in your skin. The device is clinically proven to cleanse skin 6x better than hands alone and removes long-wear makeup 89% better than wipes.

One of my biggest skincare problems is having clogged pores. Luckily, the concept of Clarisonic’s patented sonic cleansing technique is literally built on defeating this problem! With the added benefits of anti-aging and skin-firming, my skin has been feeling better than ever after using it for just over a week.

HOW IT WORKS

Using the Clarisonic Mia Prima Sonic device is so simple to use. Just wet your skin and the brush, apply some cleanser to the brush or directly on your skin(I use Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser), then hit the button and voila — your 60 seconds of a mini facial begins! Using circular motions on your face including forehead, cheeks, chin, and nose. The device automatically shuts off after 60 seconds.

Depending on your skin, use the Clarisonic Mia Prima every day, every other day, or just a couple times a week. I’ve been using it every day before bed as I’m loving the effects it’s been having on my face. But I would recommend you take it slow and see what works best for your own skin, however it’s not an exfoliator (common myth), so using it multiple times a week is totally fine!

Despite the small investment of the brush, it’s really a long term investment into your skin. At $99 USD/$129 CAD, it’s also the perfect holiday gift to surprise the skincare aficionado in your life with! Get your own Clarisonic Mia Prima Facial Cleansing Brush here.
